DASHCAM INSTALLATION CABLE BULLETIN – CABLE VERSION 1.1/1.2/1.3 – Non-Compatible Vehicles
As a current partner of Dashcams Protect® we are providing you with a list of vehicles non-compatible with installation cable version(s) 1.1/1.2/1.3.
Dashcams Protect® installation cable 1.1/1.2/1.3 dashcam wiring kits are not compatible with the following vehicles:
• Acura MDX (2023-Current)
• Chevy Colorado 2022-Current)
• Diesels (General Motors Only)
• Electric Vehicles
• GMC Canyon (2022-Current)
• Hyundai Hybrids
• Nissan / Infiniti
• Toyota Highlander (all years)
• Toyota Tundra (2023-Current)
• Kia Hybrids
• Lexus RX (all years)
Dashcams Protect® dash cameras can be installed in the above non-compatible vehicles by installing a 3- wire fuse tap cable – these cables are available to order by emailing
service@dashcams.com or calling 702.703.4947
*Note: some fuse panel covers will not re-attach after the installation of the 3-wire fuse tab cable.
